Learn how to make masterful plates with Twig Cosby in this 2-day wheel-throwing workshop.

This workshop will teach you all of the tricks to achieve flat, smooth tableware surfaces while exploring altering techniques to make your plates one-of-a-kind. We will discuss key aspects to consider when making sets and pursuing stackable forms. Common structural issues will be troubleshooted, such as S-cracks and warping. 

Day 1: Throwing 

Day 2: Trimming and troubleshooting. 

Materials provided: ^6 white stoneware, communal tools, and bisque firing for plates completed during the workshop
Experience required: Advanced-beginner to intermediate wheel-throwing ability. Must be able to center at least 2lbs of clay.
